Each PowerMax Cash game features 20 symbols on a 5 x 4 grid.

Here’s how the game works:

1. PowerMax Cash features two game modes: Standard and Power Boost. A timer shows how long is left before Power Boost Mode starts or how long is left before Power Boost Mode ends.
   1. Standard Mode is available from 12:00:01 A.M. - 6:59:59 P.M.
   2. Power Boost Mode is available from 7:00:00 P.M. - 12:00:00 A.M.
2. During each game, 20 symbols will be revealed in the play area. Reveal three or more matching symbols that share a side to automatically remove that cluster of symbols from the board and win a prize per the Prize Chart. For each symbol removed, a new symbol will drop down from above.
3. A WILD symbol can substitute for any symbol except a FREE PLAYS symbol, a POWER symbol or a BOOST symbol. A WILD Symbol must be part of a winning cluster in order to be applied.
4. A Multiplier WILD symbol functions the same as a WILD symbol except the prize amount for any winning cluster that the symbol is a part of is multiplied by the multiplier on the symbol. A Multiplier WILD must be part of a winning cluster to be applied and only multiplies the prize of the winning cluster that it is a part of.
5. Reveal a QUESTION MARK symbol, and it will animate to reveal a prize amount, which is then awarded.
6. Reveal a RE-DROP symbol to remove the existing symbols from the board and have all new symbols drop down onto the board.
7. Reveal three FREE PLAYS symbols to unlock 10 free plays. The free plays will begin automatically. The free plays follow the same mechanic as the main game.
8. Reveal three POWER or BOOST symbols to unlock the Rocket Bonus Game. The Rocket Bonus Game features two jackpots during Standard Mode - Power and Boost.. During Power Boost Mode, these two jackpots combine to create the Power Boost Jackpot. The bonus game mechanic is the same in Standard Mode and Power Boost Mode. In the bonus game, as the rocket flies through space, it collects coins that are each worth one point. The Points Table above the rocket shows the number of points collected. When the rocket explodes, the number of points collected is converted to a multiplier as shown on the Points Table. That multiplier will be highlighted on the Points Table. The Ticket Cost is then multiplied by the highlighted multiplier amount, that multiplied prize amount is awarded, and the bonus game ends. If the player has collected 200 points when the rocket explodes, the player wins the corresponding jackpot. In Standard Mode, that could be either the Power Jackpot or Boost Jackpot. In Power Boost Mode, that would be the Power Boost Jackpot.

PowerMax Cash plays are available for online purchase beginning March 31, 2026. Plays may be purchased for $0.50, $1.00, $2.00, $5.00, $10.00, $20.00, $30.00 or $50.00. Odds per Game are based on maximum possible tickets played.

The Rocket Jackpots are funded through the sale of linked games that are sold by the participating lotteries. Plays of those games have an equal chance by price point to win a progressive jackpot prize.
