What is the program and how does it work?
The Affiliate Program is a service that allows participating websites to earn commission on new player accounts referred to valottery.com using specially tracked links provided via Income Access. When you apply for the program via Income Access and are accepted as an affiliate of the Virginia Lottery, you may place links that include Virginia Lottery products via banners, widgets, text links and other tools or creatives on your website. When your visitors click through to the Virginia Lottery website via these links, that visitor is tracked within a 7-day cookie window until they register an account, make their first online deposit and wager at least $10. When the referred player completes these actions, the account is associated with your website as the referring source and your Income Access partner account is credited with a commission for the new player. So the more visitors you refer to Virginia Lottery and the more of those visitors convert into Lottery Players, the more you get paid.

Who can become a partner?
Any website owner, blogger or influencer that has a professional website and has a mainly US-based following is eligible to join the Virginia Lottery Affiliate Program, subject to the program’s terms and conditions. Affiliates with experience in gaming are encouraged to apply!
Can websites outside of Virginia be a part of the program?
Yes, we accept influencers and associates from anywhere in the world, as long as Income Access supports your country of residence and your content is directed toward the U.S. market. Virginia Lottery’s online games are only available to players while they are geographically located in Virginia, so keep that in mind. If your content and audience are a good fit for the Virginia Lottery, let’s talk!
How do I apply if I have multiple websites?
In your application, please list all websites, channels and platforms where you intend to promote your affiliate content.
Are there any fees or costs associated with becoming an affiliate?
There is no charge to join, and you can use the assets, banners, widgets and links provided on your website at no charge.
How are payments handled?
Commissions are based on First-Time Depositors (FTDs). First-Time Depositors are players who come to valottery.com via an affiliate link and deposit money for the first time. Upon completion of this $10 minimum deposit followed by $10 in wagers, the affiliate will receive a $50 CPA (cost per action) commission for each successfully referred new player. Affiliate partners receive commissions paid monthly via direct deposit to either a US bank account or a Skrill account.
