Each Drop the Beat game features 20 symbols on a 5x4 grid.

Here’s how the game works.

1. During each game, 20 symbols will be revealed in the play area. Reveal three or more matching symbols that share a side to automatically remove that cluster of symbols from the board and win a prize per the Prize Chart. For each symbol removed, a new symbol will drop down from above.
2. If an x? symbol is on the board when a winning cluster is revealed, the Multiplier Wheel is triggered and spins to reveal a Multiplier amount. At the end of the game, the prize amount won in that game is multiplied by the Multiplier amount revealed by the Multiplier Wheel. An x? symbol on the board when no winning clusters are present does not trigger the Multiplier Wheel. An x? symbol on the board after a winning cluster is cleared does not trigger the Multiplier Wheel unless a new winning cluster is created by the new blocks that enter the board. The Multiplier amount resets to x1 after each game and is not applied to any prize won in the Bonus Game.
3. Reveal three Bonus Game symbols anywhere on the board to activate the Bonus Game. The Bonus Game starts with a grid of 15 nonwinning disc symbols and three GOES on the counter. Each time GO is pressed, a new set of symbols drops onto the game board, and the number of GOES is reduced by one (if AUTO PLAY is pressed, the GOES happen automatically after each other). Symbols that enter the board can either be a nonwinning disc symbol (e.g. a Black Record/Disc image) or a Gold Multiplier symbol (e.g. a Gold Disc image). If any Gold Multiplier symbols are revealed, they remain in position on the game board, and the number of GOES resets to three. Regardless of the number of Gold Multiplier symbols revealed in a single GO, the GOES will always reset to three. On the next GO, new symbols will enter the board to fill the spaces vacated by the removed nonwinning symbols from the previous GO. Any Gold Multiplier symbol from the previous GO remains on the board in its same position. The game continues until the GOES counter gets to zero (which occurs after three consecutive drops with no new Gold Multiplier symbols added in those drops) or when the entire board is filled with Gold Multiplier symbols. At the end of the Bonus Game, any Gold Multiplier symbols are combined to generate the TOTAL MULTIPLIER (e.g. if there are three different Gold Multiplier symbols on the board at the end of the Bonus Game with values x1, x2 and x5, the TOTAL MULTIPLIER will be x8). The Ticket Cost is multiplied by the TOTAL MULTIPLIER. That value is the prize awarded. The Bonus Game then ends.
